About
Arneb is a distributed SQL query engine written in Rust, built as a Trino alternative for federated queries over files, object stores and Hive Metastore catalogs. It serves both the PostgreSQL wire protocol and Trino's client protocol, so tools such as psql, the Trino CLI and dbt-trino can connect. Published TPC-H benchmarks report lower latency and memory than Trino.
