Privacy Policy

When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your OAuth provider. We also collect content you submit (app listings, comments) and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps).

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the VibeLeaderboard service
• Display your public profile and contributions
• Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
• Improve the service

We do not sell your personal information. Your display name, avatar, and contributions (app submissions, comments) are publicly visible. We may share information if required by law.

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including row-level security, encrypted connections, and hashed API keys.

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management via Supabase Auth). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We use self-hosted Umami to understand visits, reading engagement, searches by result count, and links followed to tools and sources. Browser analytics include device information and public page context. The service uses your IP address to estimate location and group activity; its analytics records do not store your raw IP address. We do not send your account identity or typed search text in browser analytics events. New search-quality records retain counts and ranking modes without the query text, user-agent string, or a persistent IP identifier.

We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for audience collection. You can also turn off audience analytics below. These choices do not disable essential authentication or security logging.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed. Publicly posted content (comments, app listings) may be retained in anonymized form.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the site.
