CallFlow is a VS Code extension, also tested on Cursor and VSCodium, that keeps REST requests as plain .http files in the workspace so they diff in git. Its paid Pro tier adds an HTTP debugger that routes terminal and debug-session traffic through a local proxy so developers can inspect, save, replay and export the calls their code made. The vendor states that no account is needed and requests stay on the user's machine.
