About
jev-phone drives iOS and Android apps using Jev, TypeSafe's model that selects each on-screen action without generating any text, falling back to a small LLM only when text needs to be typed. Built on the phone-use library, it can execute multi-step tasks like searching maps for a location and getting directions, or creating a contact, running on an iOS Simulator, a physical Android device, or a cloud phone.
Why it made the leaderboard
A vision-driven mobile automation layer that doesn't require the model to write text for every action is a genuinely different approach to mobile agent testing and automation.
