CVE Intel is a local-first Rust desktop app, CLI, REST API and MCP server for vulnerability triage, pulling from up to 40 public sources including CISA KEV, FIRST EPSS and NVD to score a CVE, project, SBOM, container image or local system from 0 to 100 and show whether it is already being exploited. It also tracks watched vendors and packages, compares vulnerabilities side by side and keeps a decision ledger recording why a verdict was made and whether it still holds.
Why it made the leaderboard
It lets security and dev teams triage which CVEs actually matter for their stack locally and privately, and exposes that intelligence to AI agents through MCP.
