Paveo is a local policy guard for AI coding agents. Claude Code, Codex and Cursor ask it before running a shell command or writing a file, and it refuses actions such as recursive deletes, force pushes and DROP TABLE, then tells the agent why. Every decision goes into a hash-chained log. It matches patterns, so the authors describe it as a seatbelt rather than a sandbox.
