About
A live view of the queues outside popular New York restaurants. It streams line cameras alongside wait-time estimates for the nine locations it currently tracks across the West Village, East Village, Midtown and other neighbourhoods, so the wait is something you look at rather than guess. It runs as a website and a free iPhone app with push alerts, and offers an API and embeddable widgets.
Why it made the leaderboard
It streams live cameras of the queues outside popular New York restaurants next to wait-time estimates, so the wait is something you look at rather than something you guess. Nine locations today, with push alerts in a free iPhone app and an API and embeds for anyone who wants the feed.
