Anthropic's AG-UI example shows how a hosted Claude can work behind an application's own chat interface. The adapter connects each conversation thread to a managed session and streams the agent's responses and tool activity to the screen. The announcement's continuation describes that mapping.
In the accompanying example, CopilotKit supplies the chat interface while Anthropic hosts the agent's execution loop. The agent can request interactive charts within the conversation. This gives developers a concrete integration pattern for combining a custom interface with a managed agent backend. The example's README documents the division of work.
