About
tff is an architectural linter and health dashboard for dbt, SQLMesh and Dataform projects, checking the transformation graph itself rather than individual file syntax: it flags illegal cross-layer joins, duplicate CTE logic across models and circular dependencies, and can run as a GitHub bot in CI to block merges on violations. It is inspired by the fitness-function concept from the book Building Evolutionary Architectures, applying rules to models and checks to the whole DAG.
