About
beside.nvim is a Neovim plugin that opens a live-rendered preview of the file you're editing in a split pane, following your cursor and syncing scroll between the two sides as you type. Instead of bundling its own renderer, it delegates rendering to whichever terminal tool is already installed (leaf, glow, pandoc, or a custom one you add), so switching renderers is a single command.
Why it made the leaderboard
Neovim users editing Markdown or other documents get a synced, scrollable live preview without being tied to a single renderer or needing a browser/Node dependency.
