About
Hardcount is a self-hosted usage billing system for AI products. It prices tokens per model, sells prepaid credit, produces invoices and PDFs, and reports margin per customer, while Stripe only charges the card. Billing data stays in the operator's own Postgres, and it is positioned as an open-source alternative to Stripe Billing and Lago.
