Context

Maritime hosts each customer's in its own small virtual machine, preserving its workspace between interactions. The service describes machines that sleep when idle and resume with their saved state, allowing a developer's backend to provision a separate agent for each user. This is the infrastructure behind its per-agent hosting offer. Maritime's product page describes the persistent-machine design.

The advertised dollar is a unit price within a plan. The pricing page lists Starter at $20 monthly for 20 machines, with five allowed awake simultaneously and sleeping machines free. On Starter, additional machines cost $1.50 each; extra memory, storage and always-on operation add charges. Capacity planning therefore depends on simultaneous activity as well as the number of agents.
