Context
Nous Research added an optional Hermes that can turn a whiteboard drawing into an interactive document. Its announcement says Hermes can read and edit an open tldraw offline canvas and embed scripts with buttons and saved state.
The skill documentation explains the connection: the desktop app exposes a local programming interface that lets the change canvas objects. Embedded document scripts add behavior that survives reopening the file. That gives a designer a way to develop an interactive drawing inside the whiteboard, with the app open and the optional integration installed.
