Browsentic is a browser extension and agent harness that connects your existing browser to Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode or Cursor CLI through a loopback MCP server. It exposes web-optimized tools to the agent, works in Chromium and Firefox, and does not require CDP for core browsing. The author describes it as Apache 2.0 licensed, local-first, with no API key and no telemetry.
