About
A calculator that estimates whether a model fits in an Apple Silicon Mac's unified memory and how many tokens per second it will generate. Memory is computed from parameter count, quantization, context length and a system reserve. Speed is memory bandwidth divided by the weight size read per token, plus a fixed per-token overhead, fitted to measured Ollama runs on two machines. The repository also ships a Python CLI and library.
