This project emulates CSIRAC, Australia's first computer built in 1949, running its original tapes directly in the browser, alongside an implementation of Interprogram, the country's first programming language, that visitors can write and run against the emulated machine.
Why it made the leaderboard
A rare, playable piece of computing history made directly accessible in-browser, letting anyone write and run programs in one of the earliest programming languages with no setup.
