Workers RPC now works across Python and JavaScript

Cloudflare's Workers RPC lets a JavaScript service call methods implemented in a separate Python Worker, and vice versa. RPC means invoking a function in another service; here, the runtime handles the language boundary. The technical announcement explains that service bindings connect the Workers, while conversion layers translate values and provide references through which code can call methods on remote objects.

Its example has a JavaScript Worker call a Python Worker that does syntax highlighting. That shows the concrete benefit: an application can reuse a Python component without rewriting it in JavaScript or building a separate request-and-response API for that interaction.
