About

watn is an open-source command-line tool that turns plain-language descriptions into complex shell commands combining utilities like git, find, ffmpeg, and xargs, and explains what a given command does. It installs keyboard shortcuts for bash, fish, and zsh so a typed request can be replaced in-place with the generated command, and includes a review interface for inspecting or regenerating results with a different model.

Why it made the leaderboard

Turns a plain-English description into a working shell one-liner (git/find/ffmpeg/xargs chains) directly at the prompt, with a TUI to review or regenerate before running it.
