OpenRouter's Fusion gives a model a way to compare several independent answers before responding. When invoked, panel models work in parallel; a judge analyzes their agreement, contradictions and missing coverage; the original model uses that analysis to write the final answer. The extra review has a concrete cost: OpenRouter says its default three-model panel typically costs about four to five times one completion and often takes two to three times as long. That makes Fusion a selective option for difficult research questions where comparing answers warrants additional work. Fusion explanation
