About
DBJoy is a native macOS PostgreSQL client built with SwiftUI. It includes an AI assistant that answers questions about your data using real queries or writes SQL, using your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, and it has an MCP server so Claude Code can use your database. It also covers schema browsing, safe data editing, SQL writing and export.
Why it made the leaderboard
Lets you query Postgres in plain language and exposes the database to Claude Code through MCP, in a native app with bundled libpq and pg_dump. It fits agent-assisted database workflows.
