Carton is a Ruby library that enforces module boundaries inside a single process. Each Carton exposes only what it exports, keeps its monkey patches local, and can use its own gem versions, all enforced at runtime through Ruby 4's Ruby::Box. It needs no manifest files, and the project states it is experimental because Box itself is still experimental.
