About
tika-ape bundles Apache Tika 4 and its Java runtime into a single portable executable, so document text, metadata and file type detection work without installing Java or running a Tika server. It offers a command-line interface and language bindings for Python and Node.js generated with APEBind. The standalone CLI has no JNI support, so its text-only profile disables PDF inline-image extraction.
