Managed Agents now load skills from your attached repositories. If you already keep skills in .claude/skills/ for Claude Code, Managed Agent sessions pick them up automatically at start.
Context
Anthropic made repository-based skills reusable in Claude Managed Agents. Skills package instructions and supporting resources for recurring tasks. Under the announced behavior, a session discovers skills in the attached repository's .claude/skills directory when it starts, allowing teams to reuse material already maintained for Claude Code.
The documentation clarifies that the receives each 's description and reads its instructions when relevant. Discovery follows the repository version checked out at startup, so later commits require a new session to load the updated skills. The repository supplies a shared source for those workflows.
