This is a SQLite loadable extension that registers a virtual file system storing a database on Google Cloud Storage appendable objects. Appending to an object takes roughly 1 ms against about 10 ms for uploading a new one, so commits are faster than approaches that upload objects, and no database server is needed. The author says it is not for production and was largely written with AI.
