Murmur is a macOS menu bar app for push-to-talk dictation. You hold a key, speak, and the transcript is pasted at the cursor in any app, including terminals. It calls OpenAI directly with your own API key, with no account or intermediary server. Optional Modes rewrite the transcript through an OpenAI model before pasting, for example to translate or clean it up.
