AI Coding Gateway intercepts every tool call made during a Claude Code session and checks it against a configurable rule list before allowing execution, giving developers a local dashboard of activity logs and a whitelist for pre-approving safe commands. It also trims unnecessary context from tool responses to reduce token usage.
Why it made the leaderboard
Gives developers a policy layer between an autonomous coding agent and their machine, so auto-approving tool calls doesn't have to mean unconditional trust, with a token-saving side benefit.
