ObsidianYouTubeSync is a Python tool that downloads a user's YouTube watch history with yt-dlp, extracts transcripts, and uses Google Gemini to write a summary and hierarchical tags for each video. Each video is saved as a Markdown note with YAML frontmatter in an Obsidian vault. It syncs incrementally, skips Shorts, can retag other note folders, and includes an MCP server.
