Concilia Tower is a from-scratch rewrite of the tower-building simulation game SimTower that runs in the browser via WebAssembly, built over six months by reverse-engineering the original binary with a Ghidra decompilation and an AI-generated summary of the source. Rather than shipping new art, it loads a copy of the original SimTower binary that the player supplies and parses it in-page to pull out the original game assets.

Why it made the leaderboard

It brings a hard-to-emulate 1990s tower simulator back to life in the browser through a full agent-driven decompilation and rewrite, with the original game's real assets loaded client-side.
