LLVM Vulkan implements selected compiler calculations as Vulkan compute shaders and connects them to LLVM optimization passes, including GVN, CSE, CFG simplification and dead code elimination. It can be loaded as a pass plugin with opt or Clang at -O2, while the host LLVM keeps semantic authority and checks results. The project's benchmarks on a Ryzen 9 5950X versus an RTX 5090 show large gains for key sorting and modest gains for integer folding, while the CPU wins on small inputs and graph cases.
