Context
AutoSynthData turns an enterprise 's failures into targeted practice tasks. ServiceNow AI's developers describe running a target model and a stronger model on the same tasks, summarizing what the stronger one does that the target does not, then generating new requests that exercise that missing capability in the same working environment.
Each generated task includes starting conditions and a success check. The pipeline executes the intended solution and also tests whether incorrect outcomes fail that check. This matters because training on an impossible task, or rewarding an incorrect result, would teach the wrong behavior. Accepted tasks get a successful demonstration from the stronger model for training, and a further evaluation identifies what the model still needs to learn.
