RooQL is a small semantic layer library that compiles metric queries into SQL from an Apache Ossie model, running inside the app (browser, Claude artifact or Node script) with no server to deploy. It targets Snowflake, DuckDB and BigQuery, and refuses queries it cannot answer correctly, such as joins that would double-count, with a typed error. Defining a metric once in the model means every app compiling from it returns the same number.
