About
AWS Kinesis Local serves the Amazon Kinesis Data Streams API on your machine so applications and tests can run without an AWS account. It implements all 45 operations including enhanced fan-out, and serves JSON and CBOR over HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 on one port, so the AWS CLI and SDKs work with default settings. It ships as an npm package with a programmatic start function for test suites, a Docker image and a Helm chart.
