Meeple Scan

About

Meeple Scan is a free web app, installable to a phone home screen, that reads a photo of a board game box or a whole shelf and shows each game's BoardGameGeek rating, complexity, and best player count. It combines an AI vision model with OCR and matches names against a BoardGameGeek index; the authors report about 90% of boxes recognised on their evaluation photos. It requires no account, and games you confirm are stored on the phone.
