About

Owl-24 is an OpenTelemetry-based observability tool that monitors services for errors, slowness, or downtime and deduplicates repeated failures into a single grouped error. Grouped errors are placed in a queue that a team's own Claude Code or Cursor agent polls, claims, investigates using its own traces, and turns into a pull request that a human reviews and merges, closing the loop between detecting a production failure and shipping a fix.

At a glance

Owl-24 groups production errors and packages them for a coding agent to investigate. It is worth trying if recurring errors are easy to detect but slow to turn into a reproducible development task.

Good fit

Teams with an OpenTelemetry workflow and a review process for agent-proposed fixes.

Consider something else when

Keep manual triage if telemetry cannot reach the service or agents should not have repository access.

Start here

Trigger a synthetic error in staging and inspect the grouped report. Check what reaches the agent and whether a proposed fix addresses the actual reproduction.

Cost and requirements

The vendor describes beta access and starting credit. Check ingestion limits and separate agent costs for your workload.

Limits to know

Grouping can hide differences between failures, and a proposed patch still needs review. Check what telemetry contains before forwarding real errors.

Why it made the leaderboard

Owl24 deduplicates production errors into a claim/resolve queue your own Claude Code or Cursor agent polls, investigates using real traces, and turns into a reviewable PR, closing the loop from alert to fix.
