About
BoxHaven lets development teams run AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini, plus developer shells, on named persistent remote Linux boxes that keep running after a laptop disconnects. Each box holds a managed tmux session for long-running agent work and can sync the current project to and from the remote machine, and it can be self-hosted with a team's own cloud credentials or used as a hosted service.
Why it made the leaderboard
BoxHaven keeps long-running Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini sessions alive on a named remote box after your laptop disconnects, with project sync and SSH access built in instead of hand-rolled tmux-over-SSH scripts.
