About
A Claude Code skill for rapid industry mastery — transform from outsider to insider in hours.
What it does
Chuinb Skill turns a topic request into a structured research and study workflow inside Claude Code. It first asks about goals, background, and available time, then researches the subject, collects supporting media, and saves a tailored Markdown guide. Outputs can include plain-language explanations, terminology, people, cases, flashcards, quizzes, practice scenarios, and next actions.
Why it's ranked here
This is a thoughtfully specified research workflow, not merely a prompt template. It requires multiple source types, recent evidence, citations, conflict handling, media fallbacks, and user profiling. The strong structure makes results easier to learn from and audit. Its main drawback is operational weight: full use depends on Claude Code, helper skills, external tools, API credentials, and media handling.
What's good
The research rules are unusually concrete. Key conclusions need traceable sources, changing data needs timestamps, and conflicting figures must retain uncertainty rather than being flattened into one answer. Topic-specific frameworks cover technology, finance, consumer, creative, industrial, and service industries. The learning design also connects simple explanations, first-principles analysis, focused vocabulary, cases, recall cards, and practice scenarios.
Tradeoffs
Installation is more involved than the conversational interface suggests. Image generation and media downloading require two additional skills, while video processing needs separate command-line tools. Image generation requires a ModelScope credential, and web image retrieval may require a Pexels credential. The generated notes use Obsidian-style media embeds, so other Markdown readers may not display attachments correctly. Mandatory media acquisition can also add time and failure points to a research task.
How to use it well
Use it before networking, interviews, career exploration, investment research, or focused self-study when you need a broad mental model quickly. Give it a specific goal, your current background, and a realistic time budget so it can select the right depth and analogies. Treat the resulting note as a structured briefing and study pack. It does not replace primary-source verification, professional advice, or a dedicated decision model for consequential investments.
Technical notes+
SKILL.md defines the six-phase Claude Code workflow, mandatory sourcing rules, media fallbacks, scenario modes, and quality checks. assets/note-template.md supplies the Obsidian-oriented output structure. The three files under references/ provide jargon, learning-method, and industry-category frameworks. scripts/validate_skill_spec.sh uses Bash and ripgrep to verify required headings and uniqueness, while scripts/test_validate_skill_spec.sh covers passing, missing-section, and duplicate-heading cases. .github/workflows/validate-skill.yml runs both scripts on relevant pushes and pull requests. README.md and README-EN.md document Chinese and English usage.
