bough is a terminal coding agent that has the model write and run a single JavaScript program instead of making tool calls one at a time. File editing, running bash, and spawning subprocesses (along with any MCP tool) become ordinary functions inside that program, so a patch, a format, and a test run can be one step with the model branching on results in code rather than through extra round trips.
