A set of shell scripts that use ADB to disable Samba TV content recognition and Sony telemetry packages on a Sony Bravia TV without root. One script verifies the TV has gone quiet by reading its socket tables, one restores the original state, and a guard script reapplies the changes after firmware updates. The author has tested it only on one TV model, so package names may differ elsewhere.
