About
pg_vectorsearch is a PostgreSQL extension for approximate nearest neighbor search built around the PRISM index, an IVF-style index with hierarchical routing and RaBitQ quantization. It supports inserts, updates and deletes and can index existing pgvector vector and halfvec columns. The authors report it is faster than pgvector's IVFFlat and HNSW, and it is currently alpha.
