About
soothsay reads a shell install script and explains in plain English what it will do to your machine before you run it. As a Claude Code hook, it blocks AI coding agents from piping installers into the shell until the script has been reviewed. This matters because piping a remote script straight to a shell runs it without anyone reading it first.
