Laya is an open-source, non-autoregressive "System 1" decision model that returns calibrated probabilities for structured decisions (routing, scoring, classification) in about 33ms across 100+ languages. It uses bidirectional encoders trained with reinforcement learning for calibrated decisions (RLCD) and is released under Apache 2.0 as a faster, open-weight alternative to TypeSafe AI's Jev.
