About
Sonia is a local voice assistant that combines an LLM, speech-to-text and text-to-speech without a dedicated GPU, in under 15 GB of RAM. It listens continuously so users can interrupt replies, detects turn endings, mirrors English or Italian, and calls tools such as timers, notes, skills and gated shell commands. The language model is served by an external OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
