About
Maclet is a container runtime for Apple Silicon Macs written in Rust. It boots a Linux ARM64 virtual machine through Apple's Virtualization Framework and uses Linux namespaces, cgroups v2, OverlayFS and bridge networking inside it, without Docker Desktop or containerd. It can pull OCI images, run detached containers, set CPU and memory limits and forward ports.
