About

accent-sass is a Rust library that compiles Sass to CSS with no dependency on Node.js or libsass, aiming for strict parity with dart-sass. It is a fork of connorskees/grass that carries forward modern Dart Sass features not yet released upstream, letting Rust programs build real-world stylesheets such as Bulma, Pico, Foundation, and USWDS without shelling out to another toolchain; it is maintained alongside the Accent CMS project but works as a standalone general-purpose library.

Why it made the leaderboard

Gives Rust toolchains a way to compile real-world Sass (Bulma, Foundation, USWDS) without depending on Node or libsass, aiming for strict parity with dart-sass rather than an approximation.
