Sentient is an open source monitor for coding agents that records file changes, shell commands and network connections. It captures kernel-level events through eBPF with Tetragon and correlates them with agent session logs, so a user can see which prompt led to each action. Deterministic rules flag risky operations such as edits outside the repo, deletions and sudo use, and a local dashboard shows diffs and timelines.
