About
WhatsApp MCP is a self-hosted MCP server that lets AI agents read chats, receive new messages, reply, send media, and react through one linked WhatsApp account. Phone numbers stay on the server, so agents only see random ids and names, and the stored session, messages, and media are encrypted. Built-in rate limits and a daily cap on new chats aim to reduce the risk of the number being banned.
