Cursor's Builds prepare the development environment that a cloud coding starts from. Repositories are copied and dependencies installed ahead of the run, then a successful preparation becomes the active environment. Its August 13 release notes say that a failed replacement leaves the previous successful build active.
That keeps a broken dependency update or environment configuration from disrupting subsequent agent starts while someone diagnoses it. Build history records logs, repository commits and which build each agent used, helping developers trace a problem to the environment involved.
