Carve is an open-source Mac agent that works inside a window you pick in any app. Press Option-D and it performs repetitive tasks such as entering contact details and drafting a follow-up, or annotates and explains what is on screen. It runs on your own API keys, with OpenAI best tested and OpenRouter supported, and offers plan-approval, step-by-step and direct modes.
