Your agents can now pay for the APIs they use. We worked with AWS on the AgentCo

LangChain's AgentCore Payments integration handles a paid API request without making the model implement the payment process. When a compatible service returns an HTTP 402 payment requirement, middleware checks the amount against a session budget, obtains a signed payment through Amazon's AgentCore infrastructure, and retries with payment proof. Over-budget requests are rejected before signing, according to the technical announcement.

Payment records can then appear in LangSmith beside the tool call and reasoning that led to the purchase. That context matters because the payment record alone does not show why a payment happened.
