About
Su-śrotā is a scholar-grade Sanskrit automatic speech recognition model developed by Prof. Prathosh A P at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. This repository provides ONNX and INT8-quantized exports that run the model entirely client-side, either in a web browser via onnxruntime-web or locally on Mac, Linux, or Windows, without any PyTorch or NeMo dependency.
Why it made the leaderboard
Lets developers add Sanskrit transcription to browser or lightweight apps without a Python ML stack, using an academic-grade model instead of a weak generic multilingual ASR fallback.
